I am not sure this is true, but I've heard from multiple plumbers that the HD and Lowes carry low end water heater. I know the GE water heater I had in my house exploded one month after the six year. I used Star Plumbing Water Heater Express 703.569.1800, and happy with them. I found them through Angie's list. They only serve Fairfax.
