| Details: | Here is some mesg from another parent: Lately we got our garage door replaced by one good rating company, we are very happy with the work they did and the good quality of the product. When I chatted with the guy who did the work, found out he has his own company, and he is from Africa, and a hard-working guy. I could save $$$ for the same work if I used his company, unfortunately I didn't know that beforehand. But hopefully this could help you save. Here is his information. I've used him to fix my garage opener moter. He appears knowledgable, knows the problem right away when listen the motor sound. The price appears to be reasonable to for the job he did. He basically extends my garage opener's life, I'll use him when I replce with new one. 2013-12-15 11:50:01 |

Just got Charles to fix my garage door. The good: The lady who answers the phone, Abby, was nice and polite. On the day of the job, I had to postpone the appointment time by 30 minutes. They were accommodating without any issues. Charles did the job quickly even though it was not a big and difficult one. The bad: He was one hour late for the rescheduled appointment but did not tell me and I had no way to reach him directly (I could only reach him by calling Abby). By the time I realized he was late, it was too late for me to call Abby so she could pass the message to him. Eventually I called Abby twice and he finally came after one hour. I would not have minded if they had told me he would be one hour late. Since they did not tell me, it created quite a bit of problem for me and incurred some extra expenses (not a lot but could have easily been avoided). When I first called to ask for a quote, Abby gave me a wide range. When Charles arrived, he told me the price would be the upper limit of the quote. After I told me I already had a lower quote, he reduced his price but still higher that the quote I got. When I told him the quote I got, he did not believe me. I decided to show him the quote I got and he reluctantly agreed to match to quote. I would have used the other company if I had known all these.
