1) Way too expensive comparing what to be taught and how much the kids can learn 2) Awfully arrogant coach attitude and expect big yell for no reason 3) Simply -- there are plenty better and more fun ways to learn swimming at somewhere else 2013-03-11 23:17:07 |

Coach is lazy, never jump into water to teacher small beginner kids. Just stands outside, give order. Cold attitude, boring teaching style, and expensive compare to others! There are way much much better, nicer coach other places! 2013-03-13 13:47:58 |

I am a student of Coach Pan, and I understand your reasoning as to why you do not like him. However, what Coach Pan says is always helpful, rational, and true, no matter if he yells it a lot. In order for kids to acheive success at something, you have to let them know how they are doing, and sometimes that means by yelling. He has cooled off a substantial amount and there is no way anyone can label him as lazy. There are not very many coaches (except Coach Pan's assisstants) who actually jump into the water, and when he has to, he will. At Providence RECenter, he has jumped in to show us demonstrations, and now he is running a swim team. There is absolutely no way he can be lazy. Also, whenever it seems like something is impossible for the child to do, it is not. Coach Pan knows every single child's ability and that is why he challenges them to their full potential. When Coach Pan does this kind of thing, he is expressing faith and strength in your child that he/she may have still yet to unlock. 2013-03-13 18:01:01 |

He yells more to tough kids, not to sensitive kids. He does help kids to improve skills. I consider him to be quite reasonable most of time. 2013-03-13 18:42:34 |

different coach has different style, if u don't like it, u can change to another coach, but it doesnt mean he or she is not a good coach, abcswim has. more than 200 students, almost 70-80% of them have been swimming with ABC for more than 4-5years, this explains everything, doesnt it? 2013-03-14 02:16:30 |

Coach Pan is strict. He knows every student's strengths and pushes them to achieve their best. My daughter enjoyed his coaching and has learned a lot from him. 2013-07-21 08:59:29 |
