Details: | 703-803-7466 www.hicksplumbingservices.com I recommend Hicks Plumbing. They've done a superb job fixing the water line for us (outside pipes up to the street). I believe that's the custom in this industry: they only install new lines and won't fix the old lines since it takes much more time and efforts locating old lines. There is an insurance from Dominion Power (I think), about four or five dollars a month (depending on how far your house is away from the street), it will cover everything once anything goes wrong with the water pipes. A hard lesson I've learned:( 2016-03-24 07:22:12 |

You can hire a leak detection company to locate the leak first. Once it's found, any plumber can dig it out and fix it. We hire a leak detection company but it took them three tires to pinpoint the exact location - under the basement concrete floor. We ended up spent $1500 to fix it instead of $7000 for a new line. As for the insurance program from dominion power, you have to pre-register 3 months prior the leak so it's a good idea going forward. 2016-03-24 07:27:44 |
