| Details: | Piano teacher: Dr. Chen Tzu yi She is known for her musical insight, wide ranged repertoire, technical command, and up to five language skills (English German French Chinese Taiwanese). Dr. Chen performs actively as soloist, collaborative artist, and church musician. She is currently serving as Piano Faculty at prestigious Levine School of Music in Washington D.C. Ms. Chen’s passion and diligent work ethic has afforded her many notable awards (among USA, Russia, Germany, Taiwan) • 1st Prize in Mozart Scholarship Competition at Atlanta Pro-Mozart Society (2014) • 1st prize in Georgia’s Music Teachers Association upper college level (2013) • 1st prize in the Atlanta Music Club Scholarship Competition (2012) • 1st prize in the CSU concerto competition at Schwob Music School (2012) • 4th prize in the Darmstadt international Chopin competition in Germany (2009…and many others) Tzu-yi Chen currently resides in McLean area, and is available to teach private piano at home after interviewing the students. Address: 4 min. drive to the Mclean Bible church / 3 min. drive to the Spring Hill Elementary School. First time the student requires a free interview together with the parents.
