As managing director of TransPacific Communications, she designs media training and cross cultural training for non-native professionals in the U.S to be more effective in their communication. Her 23-year career in communication also includes time as a newspaper reporter in her native China, VOA broadcaster, C-SPAN producer, corporate spokesperson, public relations executive, White House advance man, communication director, cross-cultural communications speaker and newspaper editor-in-chief. Ms. Li is appointed by Maryland Governor O’Malley as a Commissioner of the Asian Pacific American Affairs. She serves on the board of the Global Diversity & Inclusion Foundation. She is also the Voice and Voice Coach of Rosetta Stone’s Mandarin Chinese products.
