I used Eddy's service today .My water heater tank had leak, he came quickly replaced a faucet and fixed it. But charged me $200.00. I think it's too much. Also, he didn't seal the faucet, looks not professional. Not recommended. 2013-03-12 09:39:36 |

$200 for replacing any faucet sound reasonable to me, and it is harder to replace the water heater faucet. Not sure what do you mean by sealing the faucet? if it does not leak any more, why do you need to seal? and it would be wrong to seal a leaky faucet anyway. 2013-04-01 07:11:35 |

We are sorry to hear about the complaint. We always try very hard to provide excellent service. We always provide the customers (specially in this community) a free estimate and always a upfront price. The customer has to agree with the price for us to start working. We are licensed, insured, and we only do plumbing work with one year warranty parts and labor. Saving costumers time we have a full truck with most of the plumbing parts. 2013-04-01 19:00:42 |

Eddie fixed my hot water pipe leaking problem today, and found and fixed a critical problem that water tank exhausting pipe was broken. He has done a really good job, and his price is quite reasonable. I highly recommend him. 2013-04-16 12:41:01 |

He is a quite knowledgeable guy. He figured out my issue after just a few diagnostics, and fixed it nicely once the right parts were in place. He did not charge for the initial diagnostic which is great. However, he got a little impatient when initially the right parts were not in place and he had to try to work around it. At that time he even suggested a bigger project to knock a hole on the wall to replace the entire faucet, and even with that I still need to find another guy to fix the hole once the faucet is replaced. What a trouble to me... Eventually he pointed me to some local store who offered the entire replacement kit. I ran there, bought the kit, gave him a call again and finally it was fixed. 2013-07-02 12:34:20 |

I can't recommend plumber Eddie Luku highly enough. I am always amazed by how reasonable his charges are. I don't think he would cost more than a handyman. Several times, when it turned out to be an easy fix, he didn't even charge us. I found his name on this forum. Good luck! 2014-02-08 08:24:22 |

One of my bathroom sink was stopped running and also was leaking. Eddy came and estimated the problem quickly and explained to me that two sinks' tubes design was wrong before (house is 35 + years old, don't know why the prior owners did not fixed it ). So he worked 2 more hrs to cut the exist tubes, cut the holes in the cabinet walls, then connect two sinks with short cut tube together. This really solved the sink blocking problem, and after his leaving and I figured out by myself, the drawer still can be used. He charged 550 on the first day's job. After he left, I found the leaking issue still there. I called again, he came back the next day, told me that the Pop-Up Drain Kit need to be replaced (he forgot to check it on day one). Then, he replaced it and solved the leaking issue. This day, he spent 1 more hrs. He charged $80 for the parts only. Before his leaving, I found that both water stoppers are not working any more (one even has not been inserted correct way)after the fixing, he explained to me that the short cut tubing he connected blocked the way, so he has to leave the stoppers that way. After his leaving, my husband figured out and solved the stoppers problems. Pros: overall, he is an experienced plumber and can find the way to solve the problems and in my experience, his price sounds reasonable. Cons: However, he just not take care every detail well enough and left some issues behind and need customer to remind and take care by themselves. 2014-02-22 16:05:58 |

Several people asked for a follow-up when I posted the water hammer noise from my house last week. I am glad to report that, after hiring plumber Eddie Luku, who was kindly recommended by a parent from this forum, we haven't heard the noise since Tuesday. Here is his cell: 202-352-0402 May 2014-05-30 13:34:35 |

I called him for a quote to replace a external hose bib/faucet and he asked for $300, I thought it's too mcuh so asked for another plumber (Jim Greer) for a quote and got $200, figured plumbing is not rocket building so we went ahead to use Jim for the job and everything worked great so far. I believe Eddy is good but he is expensive. 2014-09-09 10:02:54 |
